MECHANICAL AND SIMULATION ENGINEER (Reference: JALVASUB/MEC)

Required:

·       Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with degrees in Mechanical, Aerospace, Naval or Industrial Engineering being positively considered.

Tasks to be fulfilled:

·       Mechanical design, 3D modeling and/or simulation of components and energy systems based on fuel cells.

·       Mechanical design, 3D modeling, manufacturing and/or operation of manufacturing and assembly machinery for fuel cell components and systems.

·       Fabrication, assembly, and/or mechanical integration of energy components and systems based on fuel cells.

·       Operation of energy systems based on fuel cells.

Preferable requirements, with knowledge and/or experience in:

·       Mechanical design of specific mechanical components.

·       Mechanical design of electrical power generation systems from hydrogen and fuel cell systems.

·        Mechanical design of gas and fuel assemblies used for hydrogen generation (natural gas, biogas, methanol, ethanol, ammonia and diesel).

·       3D modeling of mechanical systems and components, in particular with Solid Edge.

·       Fluid dynamic and thermal simulation, in particular with SIEMENS Solid Edge FloEFD.

·       Simulation of energy and fluid systems with SIMCENTER AMESIM, in particular systems integrating PEM fuel cells.

·       Knowledge of metallic, composite and ceramic materials.

·       Static and dynamic structural analysis.

·       Use of 3D printers, in particular ULTIMAKER S5.

·       Mechanical design and/or simulation of PEM fuel cell components and modules.

ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL ENGINEER (Reference: JALVASUB/IEC)

Required:

·        Degree in Industrial Technologies and/or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electrical and/or Electronics and Automation.

Tasks to be fulfilled:

·        Electrical and control design, 3D modeling and/or simulation of energy systems based on fuel cells .

·        Electrical and control design, manufacturing and/or operation of manufacturing and assembly machinery for fuel cell components and systems.

·        Specification of electrical and control components of energy systems based on fuel cells and of machinery for manufacturing and assembly of fuel cell components and systems.

·        Fabrication, assembly, software programming of PLCs and graphic devices, electrical and control integration, and/or operation of energy systems based on fuel cells and machinery related to fuel cell fabrication and assembly.

Preferable requirements, with knowledge and/or experience in:

·        Electrical and control design of electrical installations for propulsion and/or stationary electrical generation systems.

·        Development of simulation models of electrical and control installations.

·        Development of hardware and software for control of fluid facilities, in particular gas and fuel facilities used for hydrogen generation (natural gas, biogas, methanol, ethanol, ammonia and diesel).

·        Specification and Integration of DC/DC and DC/AC Converters.

·        Specification and integration of lithium batteries and supercapacitors.

·        Development of hardware and software for machine control systems.

·        Design, development and integration of electrical components and control of fuel cell systems and electric power generation systems with PEM fuel cells. Programming of PLCs and graphic devices.

·        Design, development and integration of fuel cell system control software.

R&D AND PROCESS OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER (Reference: JALVASUB/IOP)

Required:

·        Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Naval or Industrial Engineering being positively considered.

Tasks to be fulfilled:

·        Optimization of R&D processes linked to the manufacture of electrochemical fuel cell components.

·        Manufacturing, assembly and/or mechanical integration of energy components and systems based on fuel cells.

Preferable requirements, with knowledge and/or experience in:

·        Development or use of catalysts, especially for fuel cells.

·        Handling or development of catalytic deposition methods and related machinery.

·        Assembly of MEAs and fuel cell modules.

·        Operation of fuel cell activation methods.

·        Operation of gas assemblies, in particular hydrogen, methane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxygen and air.

·        Operation of PEM fuel cell test facilities.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER (Reference: JALVASUB/IGP)

Required qualification:

·        Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with degrees in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Naval or Industrial Engineering being positively considered.

Additional valuable qualification:

·        Degree in Business Administration and/or Master MBA.

Tasks to be fulfilled:

Provide support to JALVASUB’s Management in:

·        Planning, Control and Management of projects, particularly in projects for the development of energy generation systems based on fuel cells.

·        Economic control of projects, mainly in consortium projects of CDTI grants.

·        Drafting of the specifications for the purchase of components and systems of the different ongoing projects and technical negotiation with suppliers.

Preferable requirements, with knowledge and/or experience in:

·        Technical and economic management of projects.

·        Economic control of projects, mainly in consortium projects linked to grants.

·        Use of project planning and control tools, in particular MS Project.

·        The development of purchasing specifications and negotiation with suppliers, in particular for components of fluid installations, gas installations (pressurized hydrogen/air/Oxygen) and fuels used for hydrogen generation (natural gas, biogas, methanol, ethanol, ammonia and diesel).
