JAVALSUB’s HYCOGEN has been selected as a highly innovative new product by Océano Azul and the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) in the International Competition for startups 2017 “Blue Ocean Innovation 4”. JALVASUB offers energy systems based on fuel cells and hydrogen technologies applicable to the propulsion of unmanned vehicles and for portable systems. JALVASUB has created a modular battery system that is a cheap and autonomous source of energy. One of the most suitable applications would be fire fighting and some systems for the security forces. For this reason, they believe that in Galicia they will find clients.
The Xunta, through the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), supports the Accelerator Océano Azul which since May has been promoted by the Naval Architects Professional Board (COIN) and which is specialized in projects in the maritime sector developed in Galicia although from all over Spain.
